VoIP Infrastructure Software Sales to Device and Equipment Manufacturers
Job description
Eyeball Networks is a leading provider of infrastructure software and developer
tools for enabling service providers, application developers, and device makers
to deliver carrier-grade VoIP, VVoIP, and instant messaging services. With over
20M end users and 200 licensees worldwide current customers include Polycom,
RIM, Brother, Nokia Siemens and Shoretel. Eyeball Networks develops end to end
software solutions including soft-clients, SDKs, servers and gateways. Eyeball
Networks provides a full solution with best of class mobile voice video quality
and guaranteed connectivity even when end points are beyond firewalls and
network address translators.
This is a new position reporting to the Vice President of Business Development
based in San Francisco CA. The infrastructure software sales executive will be
responsible for closing business with equipment makers. We are seeking
candidates who have closed deals with key decision makers at the largest
equipment makers including Avaya, HTC, Nokia, Apple, Cisco, Polycom, Alcatel
Lucent, Samsung, Huawei and LG.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve target bookings number.
- Develop and implement monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans.
- Develop targeted large accounts and increase share of wallet.
- Manage prospect pipeline from interest (establishing relationship),
development (understanding need), proposal and close.
- Generate new leads within target accounts.
- Conduct telesales and in-person sales calls.
- Manage the proposal process utilizing internal resources and managing
influence in the customer's organization.
- Perform all duties with the highest level of professionalism and
integrity.
Requirements:
- Self-motivated, responsible and thorough.
- Have 5+ years experience generating telecommunications service provider
leads.
- Have 2+ years experience selling VVoIP infrastructure software,
developer tools, and related services.
- Creative, positive, smart, tenacious and knowledgeable about ways to
penetrate large accounts, get beyond voice mail systems and get appointments
with key executives.
- Have a strong and personable telephone presence.
- Have webinar based presentation skills with outstanding listening
skills.
- Familiar with Miller Heiman Strategic Selling or other large account
selling approach and has SalesForce or other CRM experience.
- BA, BS or equivalent.
- Stay at the leading edge of communications technology.
Preferred:
- International sales experience.
- Has worked for Ecrio, Paradial, Openwave, Comverse, Ericsson, Radvision
and GIPS to device and equipment makers listed above.
- Fluency in Chinese, Japanese or Korean.
