Technology Marketing Corporation has named AnyFirewall Engine
from Eyeball Networks (News - Alert) the recipient of the 2007
INTERNET TELEPHONY Excellence Award presented by INTERNET
TELEPHONY magazine.
The Vancouver, Canada-based Eyeball Networks, a provider of
firewall and NAT traversal solutions for handset makers and
operators, were recognized for contributing to the advancement
of VoIP technology.
“Taking risks to advance VoIP technology and provide real
solutions have earned Eyeball Networks recognition from the
editors of INTERNET TELEPHONY and an INTERNET TELEPHONY
Excellence Award,” Greg Galitzine (News - Alert), Editorial
Director of INTERNET TELEPHONY, said.
Galitzine said the company’s AnyFirewall Engine excelled in
delivering solutions and its customers are extremely pleased and
have offered their testaments of support.
“We are proud to present Eyeball Networks with a 2007 INTERNET
TELEPHONY Excellence Award,” he said.
AnyFirewall Engine is available today for licensing and
deployment.
Dr. Shahadat Khan (News - Alert), CTO of Eyeball Networks, said
Firewall and NAT traversal in the past has been the biggest
obstacle to widespread VoIP adoption.
“AnyFirewall Engine SDK provides the most comprehensive
implementation of IETF standards STUN, TURN and ICE, and
guarantees VoIP call completion through NATs, firewalls, UPnP
gateways and web-proxies,” Khan said.
The 2007 INTERNET TELEPHONY Excellence Award winners have been
published in the October 2007 issue of INTERNET TELEPHONY
