Position: Solutions Engineer
Based in Eindhoven, the Solutions Engineer will be co-located at a key Eyeball Networks customer site. This engineer will serve as an integral part of the Eyeball Networks development team and will collaborate with the customer’s engineering staff. In addition, this engineer will analyze customer technical requirements, provide guidance for product development and assure that customer issues are addressed in a timely fashion.
The Solutions Engineer will be responsible for actively driving and managing technology evaluation and deployment processes, working as the key technical adviser and product advocate for Eyeball’s products. Develop Eyeball Networks communications SDK and server products
Partner with Eyeball Networks customers to deploy iOT services/products
Review, analyze and troubleshoot customer issues using standard network analysis tools like Wireshark
Provide trusted advice to customer engineers and engineering management
Work independently using remote collaboration tools like JIRA
Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
Minimum of 5 years experience developing communications SDKs and servers written in C++
Thorough knowledge of communication protocols including: XMPP, SIP, RTP/RTCP, ICE/STUN/TURN
Experience with Cassandra, Hbase, MongoDB or MySQL
Experience writing idiomatic C++ code and developing low latency, multi-threaded systems
